Would YOU Like to Be an Empowered Gal Ambassador?
Do you want to make a difference in your school and community?
Do you want to be the go-to gal for your friends and peers?
If you answered yes to either of the above questions, you are exactly who we are looking for!
EG Ambassadors aim to bring the Empowered Gal philosophy to their schools and their communities, be a leader and role model for other girls, and provide a safe place for girls to come, get support and advice, and work together as a team or “sisterhood” to make a positive impact in their schools and communities.
Being a part of our EG team, you will have access to tons of meeting materials, ideas and support, have chances to win awesome prizes for you, your gals and your school, and have the opportunity to become the leader gal you always knew you could be. Plus, it’s not that hard to make it all happen! Read on for everything you need to know.
The EG Ambassador program is an in school peer to peer support and mentoring program for high school girls. The goals of the EG Ambassador Program are for you and fellow Ambassadors to:
---> Make friends and meet new people with similar goals
---> Build self esteem and confidence
---> Give back to your school and community
---> Be a voice for problems going on in your school, and be a part of the solution
---> Be the “go to” gals for your peers when problems arise
---> Organize school wide campaigns
---> Support and encourage fellow gals to reach goals, realize dreams and take risks
---> Be proactive in dealing with issues, supporting fellow members, and making changes at your school & community
Are You an EG Ambassador?
An EG Ambassador is a high school girl (grade 9-12) who wants to make a difference in her school community, her life, and the lives of her friends. She:
---> Is committed to making a difference in her school and community
---> Takes initiative to fix problems and find solutions
---> Is a leader
---> Works well with others, enjoys making things happen, and is open and honest with herself and others
As an EG Ambassador, you will be expected to:
---> Lead by example
---> Be a good role model
---> Be active about making a difference
---> Mentor younger/new girls
---> Commit to at least one hour a week to fulfill your responsibilities with your co EG’s and work on issues/solutions and activities
---> Encourage other girls to join the group or activities
---> Fill out a short monthly recap form
Not only do you build/increase your leadership and communication skills, but you also work together with other gals to make your school and teen years more successful, enjoyable and fun, while making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Plus, by completing activities and giving back, you and your “chapter” will be entered into draws to win awesome prizes, including scholarships!
Plus, you will receive fun free stuff, discounts on all our products, books & merchandise, and will be eligible to attend our rocking EG Ambassador Retreats!
Plus, it’s up to you how much or how little you get involved. Maybe it’s just you taking your school by storm, or maybe you and your friends team up, or maybe you are the leader gal for a whole bunch of other gals who meet up once a week or month to make an active difference in your school! It’s up to you!
