FearlesslyGirl Summit
The FearlesslyGirl Empowerment Summit is a one or two day program for middle and high school girls designed to redefine what being a girl is all about, boost self esteem, self respect and body image, help girls discover their authentic selves, understand emotions and conflict, become real leaders and navigate mean girls, groups, cliques, friendships and girl world fearlessly! Based on Kate's book, The Empowered Gal's 9 Life Lessons, Kate combines her big sister style advice and fun with honest conversation about the issues facing girls today, fun activities, and practical and useful solutions, tips and advice for girl's today.
Here's what you get!
Pre-Summit
- Phone sessions/e mails to help co-design the summit to best fit your school's (or organization's) needs.
- A pre-summit package including an info package, workshop materials, leadership handbook (with pre-event activities) and checklist to help plan the summit.
Part 1 - Leader Training (3hrs, Senior Girls)
Senior girls and school leaders are an integral part of facilitating the Summit, so the first day is dedicated to training them, providing them with the tools and skills they need to help run the program, and become leaders, mentors and allies of the younger girls far beyond the actual summit. Participants will learn how to:
- Harness their natural abilities and strengths to lead effectively
- Redefine what female power looks like
- Understand their role as mentors in their schools
- Work together to create a more positive school environment
- Learn how to facilitate the summit activities
- Run Kate's FearlesslyGirl Mentorship Program on campus.
Part 2 - Girls Workshop (3hrs, up to 300 girls)
Part 2 is filled with innovative "ice breakers", group and individual activities, discussions, role playing and tips, strategies and real world advice girls can use, right away, to start being Fearlessly Girl! Topics covered include:
- Girl World 2.0 - What it is and how it works
- Body image & redefining beauty
- Self respect & making healthy choices
- Dating smart & creating boundaries
- Inner Girl: Discovering who you are, identifying what's holding you back, and moving forward
- Goal setting & dreaming BIG: Creating a vision for your life
- Living Fearlessly - A how-to
- Creating an Action Plan: Getting from where you are to where you want to be
- Q&A!
Post Summit
